Kramp 70th Anniversary Festival

Every Part Has a Story

We just sell parts” We disagreed. Every part that’s sold has a story of impact and contribution that helped expand the business over the years. We set out to celebrate the amazing achievement of 70 years by creating a festival experience that truly felt like Kramp with the brand deeply embedded across event, finding the balance in what and why we are celebrating and a big party. The activities had to be unmistakably Kramp.

From original concept, asset/experience development and execution, our team committed to bringing 70 years of excellence to life. We dug deep into the archives, spoke to a host of employees and customers and poured over the numbers to be as accurate as we can with the stories we told. We also used their logistics heritage to build the festival village out of red shipping containers.

‘Every Part Has a Story’ Containers

The “Every Part has a Story” container installations uncover the stories behind what Kramp does and who they do it for. We used 5 shipping containers to take an immersive look at Kramp’s past, present and future.

Scale and Speed of Growth

Whether you measure their growth in parts, orders, people or square meters, the speed and scale of their ambition is truly mind-blowing. We dug into their logistics process and invited people to step into the robotic Kramp shuttle for a fast paced ride through the facts and stats that have defined their journey.

Generations of WE

The people make Kramp special. We used one of their huge automated warehouses and developed an interactive installation highlighting both the diversity and the connections across our Kramp community, the collective WE.

Guests took a photo and became part of a constellation of employees showcasing how the many generations come together across 70 years.

Spin and Deliver

Teamwork makes the dream work so we developed a game where four teams competed against each other to deliver a Kramp package from Order in to Delivery by collectively generating power via their peddling. We created a software that harnesses the kinetic energy from multiple stationary bikes positioned in a row. Each team had a blast spinning like crazy to get their Kramp delivery truck to the finish while we reinforced the company’s logistics strength.

Red Crate Race

The iconic red crate is Kramp’s signature. So we turned them into red crate racers, complete with racetrack to see how fast employees could (safely) carry themselves to the finish line.

The Kramp Anthem: Every Story Has a Part

What a better way to celebrate the company’s anniversary than assemble a Kramp band and write an anthem. We went on the search for musical talent across the Kramp territories and began the writing process. The Kramp band took the stage and played at the main event. Made us proud to see everyone rocking out and singing along.
